• is it possible to start a new business if i have recently been discharged from a bankruptcy about a year ago





• my husband owns bussiness How it can be affected by personal bancruptcy?





• I filed chapter 7 5 years ago. It was discharged. I did this on my own. After i received an immediate stay I received 2 judgements against me somehow that are showing on my credit reports. these creditors were included in my bankruptsy....what can i do to get these taken off my credit reports as I do not owe these debts...





• there is a judgment against me and I am on medical leave from my job. I just began Cpp disabilty , and my long term disabilty insurance plan will pay a certain amount and Cpp pays. I only collect 2200.00 per month. can this income be garnished? and if I would delcare bankrupcty what would happen. I also declared bankruptcy 7 years ago when my husband died. I am remarried but my current husband does not work ( alcoholic) so I am th weonly income. what can I do?





• How are the values of household items determined? What happens to the items (clothing, furniture or appliances) that the non-bankrupt spouse purchased on non-joint accounts or credit cards?





• What are the allowable earnings for a family of 6 - 2 adults and 4 children? What would the number change to if the spouse becomes employed? Does the spouses unemployment insurance payment count? Are the stated allowable earnings net or gross? Thank you.

The rest of our debts are seperate credit cards. Our house is in my name only and has no equity in it. If he files what happens to my credit? • Hi, i as well as others have invested in a company in Calgary. They were supposed to pay interest only for a term ( secure promissory notes) the cheques started to bounce in October. I/we have sent demand/default letters to this company and their lawyers with no answers. My question is what is the procedure in Alberta to petition a company into bankruptcy?





• Hi there , I have a debt of around 90,000/- dollars from credit cards and line of credits. I cannot pay back , I am the only earning member of a family of 5. If during my bankruptcy my wife would like to start a job to help the family stable , will her earning will be considered a part of family income and subject to deduction or payment by the trustee as I believe for a family two adults and three kids If my earnings fo beyond 3800 dollars I have to pay whatever is higher than the said amount. regards
