Restructuring

We have been actively involved in informal and formal corporate financial restructuring for over twenty years. Our experience in this area extends from small corporate engagements to large corporate insolvencies. We have numerous licensed bankruptcy trustees on staff, who have experience in all aspects of informal and formal work-outs. In situations where the spirit of cooperation and trust exists, we have frequently been successful in having our clients implement a plan which allows for a return to financial stability and profitability.

We have helped formulate numerous restructuring proposals pursant to the "Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act." Our Trustees are familiar with the provisions of the "Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act", which is available to provide the manouvering space necessary in larger restructuring assignments.

Receivership, Liquidation and Bankruptcy

We believe that the hallmark of any corporate recovery specialist is to act quickly and maximize the return to all affected parties. We have extensive experience in both private and Court appointed receiverships, bankruptcy and receiverships, both in restructuring and liquidation modes. We have the resources to deploy quickly, assess the situation and provide cost effective, innovative solutions for corporate distress situations. Often we are able to facilitate cooperative interaction between debtors and creditors such that the return on assets is maximized for the benefit of all parties.
