Shane is a partner at Alger & Associates Inc. and a Trustee in Bankruptcy within the firm's personal insolvency area. Also a chartered accountant, Shane is qualified, experienced and talented in helping individuals address their debt problems.

Shane is easy to talk to and he clearly shares viable options for each person's unique financial challenges. As needs dictate, he refers individuals to credit counseling organizations, resources and specialists. In a compassionate and non-judgmental manner, Shane helps individuals to assess their options for financial recovery and make their own decisions regarding next steps. If bankruptcy or proposal is chosen, Shane works closely with the individual - guiding them through the legal requirements.

Shane is Bachelor of Commerce graduate from the University of Alberta. He articled with Collins Barrow and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982. He is a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional and Trustee in Bankruptcy. In 1993, Shane became a partner in Collins Barrow. In 2000, the insolvency and bankruptcy division left Collins Barrow to establish a separate company - Alger & Associates.
