Piikani Energy Corporation (“PEC”)
Piikani Energy Corporation made an assignment into bankruptcy on November 29, 2010. Alger & Associates, in its capacity as Receiver-Manager of Piikani Energy Corporation, filed the assignment on behalf of PEC. This assignment was made pursuant to the Court Order made November 24th granting the Receiver the power to make the assignment.
Alger & Associates Inc. is the Court appointed Receiver-Manager of Piikani Energy Corporation under s. 13(2) of the Judicature Act and s. 99(a) of the Business Corporations Act as a result of the provincial Court Action No. 0901-18791 which has resulted in a Receiver-Manager Order made May 20, 2010 appointing Alger & Associates Inc. as Receiver-Manager.
Alger & Associates Inc. is the Court appointed Conservator of PEC under s. 13(2) of the Judicature Act as a result of the provincial Court Action No. 0901-18791 which has resulted in an Interim Preservation Order made December 21, 2009 appointing Alger & Associates Inc. as Conservator.
