Qualifications

David builds his Chartered Accountant designation (2007) upon a strong background in science (Bachelor of Science Degree, University of Alberta 2001) and an Accounting and Strategic Management Diploma from Grant MacEwan College (2003).

He has steadily increased his ability to manage engagements, moving to Senior Accountant level with Grant Thornton in 2007. David joined Alger & Associates in March 2008, bringing with him an extensive background in all areas of accounting, including audits and corporate tax, as well as expertise in the oil and gas industry. David applies his skills to support troubled small, medium and large enterprises with recovery strategies, while he works towards obtaining his Trustee in Bankruptcy designation.
