Question:   My parents own a motorhome and an RV lot in B.C., but all of their mail and government documentation supports that my home is their address even though they live on this lot. My question is, given these circumstances can the motorhome be taken from them if they file for bankruptcy?

Also, are there any programs specific for seniors who are considering bankruptcy?

Some provinces have exemptions for personal residences if the residence is their main home and they live in it. I am not sure what BC's is.

Your parents should see a BC trustee to discuss their complete financial picture.
