If you file bankruptcy twice, there is a mandatory court appearance for your discharge. The court will review your file to see if there are any other penalties. In Calgary, you will receive an automatic 6 month suspension as well. Also, the credit bureau records a second bankruptcy for 14 years rather than seven.
