Question:

I am currently 6 months into my 21 month bankruptcy period [9 months + an additional 12 months extension].

I am suing my employer for sexual harassment in the workplace. What portion of the settlement am I required to pay to the trustee?

In addition, I filed for bankruptcy in March 2004. I have an outstanding student loan. I graduated in 1994. Am I still liable for the loan after I am discharged from bankruptcy?

Thank you.
