My husband and I are separated and I just found out he is filing for bankruptcy. Will this affect me?

Answer:  

If your husband files for bankruptcy you shouldn't be affected unless your name is on any of the debts. If it is, you will now be liable for the full amount of those debts. You can also refer to the section Is My Bankruptcy Going to Affect My Spouse/Partner? on this website for more information.
