Question:

I am applying to the Alberta Government to release Funds from a LIRA to pay personal income tax for the 2003 taxation year. I am currently in a proposal accepted by my creditors in the spring. If I get permission to have the funds released is it possible for my creditors to claim these funds?

No, if you are able to access the funds creditors cannot touch them if your proposal is in good standing.
