Question:

I have an old unpaid debt on my credit file and the company I owe the money to is not responding to my telephone calls to pay this debt off. I have called numerous times and keep getting someone's voice mail. I even asked to speak to a manager or supervisor in charge of collections and that person will not return my phone calls either. My question is, how can I pay off an old debt so that it will eventually leave my credit history if no one will take my payment? Any suggestions? Thank you.

Answer:   My only suggestion would be to write a letter to the company asking for a response.
