I went bankrupt in October 10, 1997. The main reason was a Canada student loan for $12,000.00. The thing is this, my wife and I are buying a new homw an the lien from CSL is still there. How I get that lien removed? The CSL is gone

If the CSL debt was discharged in the bankruptcy and is still appearing on your credit record, you can contact the credit bureaus, provide them with a copy of your discharge and ask them to remove the debt from your record. Information on the Bureaus can be found under the Credit Rating section of this website.
