I have student loans from the last 3-4 years. I just finished school this year and can't find a full time job yet, working part-time only. Can I file for bankruptcy or is there a period of time I should wait?

If a person makes an assignment into bankruptcy and has been out of
school for less than 10 years, any Student loan debts survive the
bankruptcy and must be paid in full. If you need assistance with your
student loan, Credit Counselling Services of Alberta may be able to
help. Their toll-free number is 1-800-294-0076.
