I recently lost my job and my new job doesn't start till sometime after Christmas. My roommate lost his job today and is already out looking for a new one, but I'm worried about how I can keep paying bills and my rent more importantly. I have hardly any money coming in and don't know where to turn for help to keep my home. What should I do?

Can you borrow a sum from a friend or family member to tide you over? Also, Social Services may be able to help you if it is only for one month.
