Question:

We claimed bankruptcy last year. We did not find out until after we claimed bankruptcy that someone had a lawsuit against us that was previous to us claiming bankruptcy. The paper work did not come until later but has the original date is on the documents. We could not respond to this lawsuit as we had no money and had no idea that the bankruptcy firm could do anything about it. Now a judgement has been placed on us, is there anything we can do? We are still in bankruptcy.

Answer:

Please contact your Trustee to give them information on the judgement. It is likely covered under the bankruptcy.
