Question:

I have been contacted by a collection agency this past July regarding an account that may/or may not be mine. It was for a vehicle that was leased or bought and there was an outstanding balance of over $7000. This debt appears to be from 1995 that's seven years ago!? It is also from another Province than where I live. Is there any statute of limitaions on this type of matter and/or how can this be resolved?

Answer:   Each province has its own statue of limitations. You need to find out the time frame for the province you are in.
