I am a Canadian citizen living in the USA and recently lost my job. I have no debt in Canada but unfortunately have accumulated too much debt in the USA. I am about to file for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. When I move back to Canada I will have a SIN# instead of my SS# down here in the USA. Will my new SIN# give me a new credit history in Canada or will banks, etc. have access to my credit history from the USA? Thanks.
