I am an inspector in a bankruptcy and the non-bankrupt
spouse has filed a claim for arrears of child support. She surely has a
claim but I do not think it is a claim provable in bankruptcy as it
survives. My thoughts are that it is not a crystallized debt and a claim
that should not be admitted on the estate. Am I correct?

Claims for arrears for child support are provable in a bankruptcy and
they also survive. If you are an inspector, the Trustee for the estate
can explain further and quantify the support claim for you.
