My husband and I are considering bankruptcy. He works
full time, I'm home with our 2 kids. We currently owe approx. $17,000
personal loan unsecured and $11,000 on credit cards. We have an old car worth
1,000.00, which he drives for work purposes and are leasing a truck through
Ford Credit of Canada. Our only asset is this computer worth $1,500.00, a
1979 trailer worth approx. $1,000.00. My question is, should we be able to
keep our truck, since we are up to date on payments?

Ford Credit has a policy that as long as the vehicle payments are up to
date, they will allow the individual to keep the vehicle. This is in
Calgary and I'm not sure if this is a national policy or not, but I suggest you
call them and inquire.
