I was told by a bankruptcy lawyer that I could not file my student loans in the bankrupcty. Is there any help in paying back these loans without accruing interest?

In Canada, you should contact the branch of the government that provided the loan to you about their interest relief programs. If you are writing from the U.S. we are unable to assist you.
