Question:

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can impart...

I went bankrupt for the 2nd time in 1992 and was subsequently conditionally discharged. The condition was that I pay $5000. to my Trustee (I assume to be dispersed to my creditors). Problem is that I have NOT paid a dime of this money, and have had little or no contact with the Trustee since the conditional discharge was granted. My question is: what kind of trouble am I in, and, how can I "get out" of this trouble? I would prefer to pursue a remedy personally (i.e., application to the Court, etc.). Many thanks again for your help...

Answer:   To clear up your bankruptcy you need to contact your Trustee, or hire a lawyer who can help you make the necessary application to Court. Unless you deal with this problem you will remain in bankruptcy and your pre-bankruptcy creditors could pursue you for your debts.
