I am a single mother and have two children, one with ocd who requires to see a psychologist on a weekly basis (125.00). My other daughter
has ADHA. I am currently in debt for $72,000 and see no way out. I have a
car which I am still paying on and this is not included in the $72,000. Is
it possible to make a proposal to my creditors and how much money would I be
allowed to keep from my earnings? If I declare Bankruptcy could I lose my
job as I work as a cutomer service rep for an insurance company for the past
20 years? I receive no support from my children's father and we were never
married and I never lisited him as the parent. Please provide me with some
options

Your options depend, in part, on the income you have as well as your unusual
expenses. To explain to you all the options such as O.P.D., proposals or
bankruptcy exceeds the scope of this Q&A forum. Since most Trustees offer a
free first consultation I'd suggest you make an appointment to discuss your
situation and the options available. That appointment usually takes 1 to 1.5
hours. Collins Barrow can be reached in Alberta at 310-8888.
