Would my students loans be affected if I file bankruptcy?

Answer:   Student loans survive a bankruptcy if you have not been out of school for 10 years or more. If you are expecting to receive proceeds from a student loan in the future and are contemplating filing for bankruptcy, you should ask student loans if they will still advance you funds while you are bankrupt.
