If I file bankruptcy will it affect my husband,s credit rating? We at this time have no joint debt. We have been married for just over a year and I had previous debts that I need to take care of now and was wonderering if bankruptcy is for me.

In Canada, one person's credit rating does not affect another's. If you
file for bankruptcy it should not affect your husband's credit record.
