Question:

My ex-husband was discharged couple years back and the trustee still has not attempted to contact me regarding a house sale that has no mortgage and was jointly owned. Is there a time limit where all the bankruptcy processes end?

Answer:

If your husband was Absolutely Discharged the Trustee may have determined that there was no value to the estate from the house. Trustees can continue to deal with assets and issues, however, well after the bankrupt has been discharged. I'd suggest you contact the Trustee directly.
