If I claim personal bankruptcy how does it affect my partner? Will his income be taken into consideration as mine pertaining to my bankruptcy?

Answer:

If you file for bankruptcy your partner's income is not considered as yours. There are, however, some requirements regarding income under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act that should be discussed with a Trustee such as Collins Barrow Limited.
