I got into trouble by gambling. How will that affect a bankruptcy of $32,000? I have quit, but I don't think that will matter to my creditors

If gambling is the primary cause of bankruptcy then the Trustee is obligated to bring your file to Court for Discharge. The Court will be looking for information or documentation to show that gambling is no longer an issue before the discharge is granted. The creditors also have the right to make any representations to the Court that they feel are appropriate but the Court decides on the appropriate Order of Discharge.
