If it is $975.00 for an individual to claim bankruptcy, how much is it for a couple to file jointly?

Answer:   Usually, the fee is $975 for each person filing for bankruptcy. There are occasions when a joint filing is possible and the Trustee may reduce the fee. As each file is different you would need to discuss your unique situation directly with the Trustee. Collins Barrow does joint files quite often and we would be happy to discuss this with you.
