My boyfriend got into an accident with my car, which was
not insured at the time and the damage is $13,502.00. The the insurance
companies want him to pay for this. Can he declare bankruptcy, and if he does will the insurance companies come after me?

Bankruptcy may be an option for him, however, he may want to talk to a Trustee to obtain all the facts. With respect to whether the insurance
company can pursue you, you may want to talk to your lawyer regarding the
legal implications.
