Question:

I am the director/shareholder of an incorporated business. The business has its own bank account for which I am the signing authority. Prior to filing personal bankruptcy can a creditor attach to this business account which is totally separate from personal and remove funds from the business account?

Answer:

If the account is strictly in the business name, creditors should not be able to attach to it for your personal debts.
