Since we have gone into bankruptcy our incomes have
decreased, making it difficult to pay rent, water, electricity, and our
bankruptcy payments. We are lucky to put food on the table. My
question is, can bankruptcy payments be lowered after we agreed to pay the amount
stated? Also my landlord is threatening to cut off our water supply. Can he do this?

When you filed bankruptcy, you made an agreement with the Trustee to pay
the fees. A Trustee is also in business and must be paid for the services
rendered in handling your bankruptcy. You should contact the Trustee to
make arrangements to extend the fee payment over a longer period of time.
With respect to your landlord, you need to communicate your financial
difficulties with him so you can work together to solve your problems.
He can most likely cut of your utilities if they are in his name. However,
I am not a lawyer and know nothing about landlord/tenant law.
