Question:

If you are living common law with someone for less than a year, is his income still included in the allowable amount a family can make. What about a teenager's job, is it included in the family income?

Answer:

Pursuant to Directive 11R point 10, a person considered to be a member of the family, who is not bankrupt, who refuses to divulge his income is deemed not to be a member of the family.

With respect to the teenagers job, it would depend on how material and income they made.
