I am considering bankruptcy here in Alberta and some of the debt I have is common utility bills, electriciy of 400.00, nat. gas of 450.00, phone of 300.00 and cablevision of 250.00. Can these debts be included in a bankruptcy, and if so, can they then refuse to give me power, heat, telephone or cablevision once I do file for bankruptcy?

These debts can be included in your bankruptcy. Service should continue but some of the companies request that you pay a deposit, which you would eventually get back.
