I'm in the process of going Bankrupt and I would like to ask a few questions.
- Will I be able to take out a student loan once I go bankrupt?
- Will I be able to keep my American Express card?
- Can they take my car that I own?

- You may or may not be able to obtain a Canada Student Loan once you are bankrupt. You should contact Student Loans to determine whether you would be eligible.
- You cannot keep your American Express or any other credit card in bankruptcy.
- The value of the car and any encumbrances on the vehicle will determine whether or not you can keep it. Your Trustee will advise you once he/she knows the details.
