Question:

I have been issued with a lien on my home by a credit card company. I have now recieved a letter from a bailiff service that they can sell/foreclose on my home in the next six months. Can they do this?

Answer:

I'd suggest you contact a real estate lawyer about this matter as I'm unsure whether a writ holder can force the sale of a home. A bankruptcy will stop a writ holders from enforcing their debt.
