My wife & I jointly own our home. If I transfer the title to her name only, 14 months before filing for bankruptcy, can it be seized by the trustee? Is there a legal timeframe to gift or transfer property prior to claiming bankruptcy?

This is difficult to answer as it depends on a number of factors including the equity in the house at the time of the remortgaging, the reason for the transaction and the subsequent disposition of the funds. I'd suggest you provide details and discuss this directly with a lawyer or a Trustee.
