How long is a bankruptcy held against my credit 1yr., 3yrs.,5yrs.,7yrs., 14yrs.,????

Answer:  

In Canada, a first time bankruptcy should show on your credit record for 6 years after you have been Absolutely discharged. A second or subsequent bankruptcy shows for 14 years after final discharge.
