Question:

My wife and I are struggling financially. She works for a bank. What are our options for a Proposal or for filling for bankruptcy? We owe about $50.000. We have a baby on the way. In march my wife will become a full-time mom at home. I really don't think that I could financially support all of us. Please advise. Thank you.

Answer:   A bankruptcy or a proposal could help you if you are unable to pay your debts. I'd suggest you call a Trustee to discuss your situation and review your options. Collins Barrow Limited in Alberta can be reached at 310-8888 or check your yellow Pages under "Bankruptcy."
