I have a couple of credit cards that are in my name, although I remember my wife signing the credit application. There are other debts involved. My budget looks like this: net monthly income= $2300; net monthly payments less food and gas = $2100. Looks like a B situation, right? Should my wife and I both file bankruptcy?

If your wife signed the credit application then she is also responsible for the credit card debt. A joint bankruptcy may be an option for you and I would suggest you call a Trustee for a free consultation regarding your options. Collins Barrow Limited in Alberta can be reached at 310-8888 or if you live outside Alberta, check your Yellow Pages under
"Bankruptcy".
