Seven years ago I did a consumer proposal which was paid
off in Dec of last year. The company I had for a Trustee tells me that it is up to me to go to the Credit Bureau and show them my discharge papers, otherwise the info will show still as not paid. Is this true?

The Credit Bureau is notified by the Office of the Superintendent of
Bankruptcy, not the Trustee. Sometimes the Credit Bureau is not properly notified, and we suggest that you ensure the bureau has a copy of your certificate of full performance in the proposal.
