Question:

I live with my common law wife and our son. If I go bankrupt and she has not signed for any of the debt, can creditors pursue her and does my bankruptcy affect her credit rating?

Answer:   Your bankruptcy affects only your debts and your credit record. Your creditors cannot pursue your common-law wife for your debts.
