I wrote to you yesterday about my dilemma with my credit card
debts that has a joint name on the card holder agreement - What can I do
to insure the creditors do not go after my friend to pay balances that
belong to me?

You may not be able to stop the creditors from pursuing your friend if
you don't pay the debt. You could try asking the creditors to remove
your friend's name from the card but they generally won't do that if
there is a balance outstanding.
