Question:   Credit cards are needed for more then their normal use and are required for deposits and identification. Where and from whom would you seek a credit card from after being discharged? And should you bring a copy of your discharge papers with you at the time of application?

Thanks

Once you are discharged, any creditor can grant you credit if you wish. It would be best to tell them that you are discharged from bankruptcy, as a credit check on their part will tell them right away. There is also a secured credit card now. You deposit funds with the bank and they hold them as security against the card.
