Question:   In March of 97, I declared bankruptcy but I only did partial depths. Now it has gotten worse, and I would like to know if I can declare it again only this time do the whole thing, the house and everything.

Answer:  

You are able to file bankruptcy a second time as long as you have been discharged from the first bankruptcy. There are some penalties, such as a mandatory court appearance for your discharge, a minimum 6 month suspension for the second bankruptcy and could be more due to the length of time between the bankruptcies, and your credit rating is affected for 14 years.
