My husband filed a personal consumer proposal and it was accepted. One of the credit card companies is now trying to get money from me. Can they do that if they have accepted? Can they double dip like that?

The credit card company agreements for supplementary cardholders now all include a clause which makes secondary cardholders liable for purchases. Ask the company to see a copy of what agreement you signed.
