How hard is it for someone who is disabled to file and win bankrupcy?

Answer:

 

Anyone who owes $1000 or more and cannot pay their debts as they generally fall due is entitled to make an assignment in bankruptcy. Therefore your disability has nothing to do with going bankrupt. As for "winning" bankruptcy, I am not sure what you mean. If you perform those duties required of a bankrupt and outlined in the "Act", and you are an honest debtor, you will be eligible to be automatically discharged from bankruptcy in 9 months. A meeting with a trustee will clarify the detailed duties which you must perform.
