Question:

If I am a first time bankrupt and my creditors oppose my automatic dicharge after nine months how long will the bankruptcy continue after the first nine months? Will it be easy to get employment after a bankruptcy?

Answer:

If your discharge is opposed then the matter gets referred to A Registrar who will make a decision about how much longer, if any you should be in bankruptcy. The length of suspension, if any, or whatever conditions a Registrar might impose are very much dependent on your particular circumstances. You need to talk to your trustee. You should also ask your trustee about the advisability of having a lawyer there to represent your interests.
