Question:

Thank you for your answer to my question about bankruptcy and student loans in in the united states. How do I find out what the repercussions would be of defaulting on an american student loan? would that effect my credit in Canada? I have heard people tell me that if you default on an emerican loan you will never be able to go into the untited states again. What would the terms be on an existing loan in the USA if I declared bankruptcy?

There is a fairly good website out on American bankruptcy (by a Canadian) that you could visit. Try visiting www.Bankruptcyaction.com
