If I am to claim bankruptcy today as a single woman with no dependants, and then were to get married next summer, will my husband's income be taken into account; will he be liable for any of my debt?

Your husband's income does not need to be reported if you marry after you file. Please refer to the section Will my bankruptcy/proposal affect my spouse/partner? regarding joint liability for debts.
