is it possible to start a new business if i have recently been discharged from a bankruptcy about a year ago

Answer:

 

You are able to start a business any time you desire. The only exclusion with respect to bankruptcy is that during bankruptcy you cannot be a director in a limited liability corporation.You are discharged and free to be a director as well.
